Welcome to the Calvary Baptist Church website. CBC is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, and we support the corporative program. Our services are structured in the traditional manner with some of the wonderful old hymns mixed with some of the new ones. We do not have a band or praise team, however, we do believe in an exciting worship service, praising the Lord with joy and enthusiasm.
We are a group of believers who love Jesus and are committed to proclaiming God’s word and to loving and caring for each other.
At Calvary Baptist Church, it is our desire to develop programs and opportunities that will help followers of Christ grow in their spiritual lives.
Our first concern is that you experience salvation through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Of all the decisions you will make throughout your life, the most important one is inviting Jesus into your heart as Lord and Savior. This decision alone will determine your eternal destiny.
Soon after becoming a Christian, the selection of a Bible teaching, Christ-centered church home is vital to spiritual growth.
If you have needs in either of these areas, please allow us the honor of helping you satisfy those needs. If you have special talents to use for the glory of the Lord, we need you to help us grow.
